My favorite gadget is cellphone

Since i was little always i had a cellphone in my hands, at the begginning i was used it for calls to my family or friends that who were far away and to have games to distract myself but after, with the widespread growth of social network , internet and the advance of tecnology it became indipensable for my life and everyone´s, i think. I currently use it every day, to wake up in the morning, communicate with my friends through social networks, distract me, make calls to my family, watch series and movies, study, find information or some address and listen to music. I think that life without this device would be difficult because it has already become to always walk with him in the hands, it is also a very easy nd fast way to communicate with people, but i also believe that it has it's negative side; because many time we stop interacting and appreciate our enviroment for being outstanding and fascinated by this device, we are so used that it seems natural :( .

WHY DID I CHOOSE VETERINARY MEDICINE?

Since childhood I always dreamed of being a veterinarian, I think one of the reasons is that I grew up surrounded by several types of animals and always had a lot of affinity with them, especially with dogs, cats and rabbits, essential pets in my home.

I remember that at 7 years old at school we were given the task of presenting “What do you want to be when you grow up?” And without hesitation when I arrived at the house, I put my two stuffed horses with a toy stethoscope into my backpack and the next day I said "I want to be a veterinarian."

Little by little I was growing and my idea was still standing, but perhaps with some insecurity to hear the typical comments: "Are you going to study that ?," veterinarians do not earn so much money "" you are intelligent you can study something else ", between so many other phrases.

When I reached the last year of school I was afraid for the P.S.U. I also felt very stressed and saw that test as something that would totally define my future, on the other hand, I was not sure that I really wanted to study because I wanted something related to health, but I am really awful interacting with people and I did not imagine my life sitting in an office serving people, on the other hand, I wanted to enter in a good university.

I gave the dreaded test and when they gave me the results I was satisfied, it was not a bad score and finally I could feel more relieved, BUT now came the really difficult moment that "would define my future." At the time of the applications I remembered little Anaís who naively took her two stuffed horses to school, all the pets I had and her desire to know how to help animals with diseases or problems; so my first option was Veterinary Medicine at the University of Chile, after that I did not know What more options to put, I told my sister and she replied that I filled out all the
options "just in case", I listened to him and I apply from environmental engineering, biochemistry, psychology and obstetrics but I honestly didn't want those options.

The day of the results I was nervous, I went to the website and did not want to open the results, I finally saw them past noon, I had stayed, I was very happy and perplexed by what was coming; change my city, from a quiet place to the "city of chaos and pollution" hahahaha.

Now that I am in the university I see different things, I have learned to be more responsible for myself and my things. So far I am happy, since I was able to pass all the subjects of the last semester and i could made new friends.

In a few more years I would like to have my own veterinary clinic where I can attend dogs, cats and exotic animals, on the other hand I would also like to be a field veterinarian.

Autobiography

When i was 4 years old.

Hello everyone!

My name is Anaís and I was born on August 18, 2000, in San Fernando, Chile. I grew up in a little town called Puente Negro with my sister, father, mother and grandmother, always surrounded by many animals.

Little by little I grew until I reached the age necessary to go to pre-kindergarten. The school was close to my house, that's where I met my best friend to this day.

Later, when I passed the fifth grade, I switched to a school in the city of San Fernando, I stayed farther away (30 minutes to be exact) but I had several friends with whom I shared during the trips. I definitely stayed at that school until I finished my studies. I left with indecisions about my future and whit a great fear of facing the P.S.U.

I remember that my first inclination towards my future was only 7 years old, when at school we were given the task of speaking in front of the course; "What would you like to be when you grow up?" I already knew what I had to do, as soon as I got home I took my two stuffed horses and I got a stethoscope, the next day in the presentation I said: "¡I want to be a veterinarian!."

Years later with the fear and insecurity of the results of the dreaded selection test, in addition to social pressure, I applied for veterinary medicine, at the University that was always my priority, fortunately I could stay and the joy was immeasurable.

I decided to study this career for the love of caring for animals and for those eagerness to know how to help a helpless being who needs help and cannot communicate verbally as we human beings do.
